TORRANCE, CA – January 16, 2012 –  The second round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship series took place in sunny Phoenix, AZ, this weekend. After a successful season opener, the Honda teams were ready to get under way at Chase Field Stadium.

This was an exciting week for Team Honda Muscle Milk, with the return of rider Trey Canard who missed the opening round in Anaheim while recovering from an earlier injury. “I am excited to be here, and I’m excited to be riding,” said Canard. “It is a bummer for me because I am not right up with the guys that I normally

compete with, but overall it was a very successful weekend.” He rode a respectable race, finishing in seventh place in both his heat and the main event. Canard’s teammate Justin Brayton had a successful heat race, finishing second. Early in the main event, Brayton got tangled up and fell to the back of the pack, but he made up a few positions to finish 14th.
