Polaris RZR 800 XC Impression & Perspective

Our friend Butch at RocksandRuts.com recently gave us a great first impression of the 2014 Polaris RZR 800XC.  (Check out their RZR 800 XC First Impressions.)

We thought the Polaris 800 XC would be a great compromise for those east cost trails where there was either a width restriction such as SSRT or the 60+ inch vehicles would be too cumbersome for optimum maneuverability.

The Matte Black Polaris 800 XC specifications include a 55″ wide platform and come equipped with Walker Evans shocks, PRP seats and 26″ Maxxis Bighorns mounted on 14″ Vader cast aluminum wheels.  Like the RZR 800 XC’s older sibling the RZR 800S, it comes equipped with fender flares.  We’ve yet to determine this first-hand but most likely Polaris achieved the slightly wider stance due to the positive off-set Vader wheels.
