Michigan ORV Youth Safety Class Starts Soon!

Class Takes place August 25th, and Preregistration is Required!

WATERSMEET, MI (August 17, 2012) — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MI-DNR) and the Michigan Trails and Recreation Alliance of Land and the Environment (Mi-TRALE) are sponsoring an Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Youth Safety Class, Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Dancing Eagles Resort in Watersmeet, Michigan.

The class is for children between the ages of 11 and 15, and includes classroom and field training experiences. The class is free to children, though pre-registration is required. To have your kids participate, contact Skip Schulz of Mi-TRALE (Email: sschulz@jamadots.com or call 906-884-9101).

For field training, BOTH Parents must sign a Waiver of Liability. Children are required to bring a helmet and sack lunch. The class starts at 9:00 am Central Time in Room 400 of the Dancing Eagles Resort. Classes and field training last until 2:30 pm.
