Twin Air Filters(10/27/11) – Utility ATVs are used in so many different ways. Some are used for work, some for play, and even some for racing. Most are used for a combination of these reasons. Utility ATVs are the most popular type of ATV made. Twin Air recognizes this and produces a full line of Utility ATV air filters.

Our air filters are best known from the racing world. We have almost 40 years of experience making the finest dual stage foam air filters in the world. We have used the lessons we’ve learned in racing to produce a product that can be utilized by all segments of off road riders. Utility ATVs are subjected to some of the harshest environments there are. Dust, mud, and water are regularly encountered on the same ride.

Protection is the number one reason for an air filter. Dirt is your engine’s enemy. We developed the dual stage foam air filter to stop dirt from entering your motor. When introduced, our filters replaced paper and single layer foam elements that were not up to the task. While many manufactures have tried to copy our design there are still many ATVs that come standard with paper or single layer foam filters.

An air filter needs to breathe. Our filters increase air flow. Anyone can produce a filter that has better air flow. Our design philosophy has always been to offer the best possible air flow while ensuring protection is at the highest level. A filter that breathes better but doesn’t stop the dirt will not be a benefit in the long run. Small amounts of dirt or sand can decrease your engines life span or even destroy it.

Durability is an important factor when choosing an air filter. No one wants to have to continually replace their air filter. The quality and design of our filters ensures a long life. Our dual stage foam is flame bonded together to ensure maximum air flow and protection. The other benefit to this design is a filter that has a solid structure and resists ripping and tearing. When properly maintained it is not unusual for our filters to be used for many riding seasons. When cleaning and re-oiling it is important to use a high quality foam air filter cleaner and oil.
